ZAPATA INN

The Historic Zapata Ranch headquarters and facilities offer a scenic setting and quiet atmosphere for corporate and family events. Its log construction and classy rustic setting is both comfortable and relaxing. We offer corporate retreats in a very private setting complete with a private meeting room. Meals are prepared by our professional gourmet chef in our full-service kitchen, and served in the appealing atmosphere of our lodge dining room. As weather allows the shady cotton wood groves here at the Zapata headquarters offer a scenic and pleasant chance for outdoor dining and other events. Meals and activities can be custom fit around your meetings.

When booked privately, the ranch has a 22 bed capacity within 15 rooms.

ACTIVITIES

In addition to the daily ranch work, we offer the following activities, all of which can be arranged to complement your schedule:

Trip to the Great Sand Dunes National Park & Preserve
Hikes to Zapata Falls or other destinations in the surrounding mountains
Fly Fishing on the Rio Grande River
Whitewater Rafting on the Arkansas
Horseback Riding trips into the sand dunes, or into the meadows
Bison Tours of our 2,500-head herd

THE EDUCATION and MEETING CENTER

This restored timber-framed barn can comfortable accommodate up to 50 people. It is equipped with wireless internet, audio video power point projector, plenty of table space and comfortable seating. Additionally, it has up-to-date conference equipment for your use. See facilities and amenities tab for inside view of the meeting facilities.

FAMILY REUNIONS

This is one of our favorite uses of the ranch – everyone has a fabulous time! Privacy and breathtaking beauty, good food, and numerous physical activities make it a perfect place for spending

time together. All activities can be custom fit around the preferences of family groups.
